At the World's Crossroads

Our new friends have arrived at last! We come from all over the world, but we share a common desire to explore the land of Israel—and a hope that what we experience over the next several days will shape our lives.

Today, several of us walked along the streets of the ancient Joppa. We visited the house of Simon the Tanner, saw a beautiful view of the Tel Aviv skyline, and learned about an ancient Egyptian city gate.

The city has been a point of international tension for thousands of years. What does it say about God that He would plant His chosen people at a crossroads of the world?
