9-1-1: Join Anne Graham Lotz on Labor Day to Pray for Jerusalem

This week, our ministry partner, Anne Graham Lotz, posted an impassioned video from Jerusalem calling God’s people to pray on Monday, September 1st, for the people living in the Holy Land.

Anne is pleading with her fellow Christians to join her in the 9th month (September), on the first day (Monday), for one hour of prayer and fasting—an urgent 9-1-1 call to God. Believing that the current conflict in Israel is a sign of the biblical end times, she is asking all believers to pray for the spiritual life of Jerusalem’s citizens.

The purpose of this call to prayer is four-fold:

1. For God to pour out a Spirit of grace and supplication (Zech. 12:10) on the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all of Israel.

2. For God to open their eyes to recognize Jesus as Messiah.

3. For God to break their hearts for their sin and rejection of Him.

4. For God to save them spiritually and physically as they cry out to Him.

In Romans 11: 26, God promises that all Israel will be saved. We’re joining Anne in praying for the peace of Israel, and that the people there will come to know His saving grace.

On Monday, September 1st, at an hour of your choosing, join believers everywhere in praying and fasting for the salvation of Jerusalem. Will you respond to this call to prayer?
