Christian Travel to Israel—Walk Where Jesus Walked

If there’s one journey that transforms your faith forever, it’s traveling to Israel.

Bringing Christian travelers to the Holy Land is one of the greatest joys of my ministry. Many have dreamed about this journey their entire lives. They’ve heard stories of Jerusalem, the Sea of Galilee and Bethlehem in Sunday school or read about them in their Bibles. But nothing compares to seeing it with their own eyes, standing where Jesus stood and experiencing Scripture in living color.

Why Christian Travel to Israel Is Life-Changing

The thought of Israel stirs something profound in every believer—and it should.

  • No place on earth is referenced in the Bible more than this land.

  • It’s the only place where God said, “I will set my name” (2 Kings 21:4).

  • The Holy Land is where God’s redemptive story unfolded—and where you can walk through the iconic sites and places of Scripture. They are real and waiting to be experienced!

For Christians, Israel is not just a historic destination—it’s our spiritual birthplace. It is where Jesus lived, ministered, died and was brought back to life. We can walk through the pages of Scripture in a way no other journey allows.

Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus in Israel

Sea of Galilee

For those experiencing Christian travel to Israel for the first time, the Bible comes alive in ways you never imagined.

  • Sail the Sea of Galilee
Imagine sailing on a wooden boat across the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on water. Feel His peace wash over you as you reflect on how He still calms the storms in your life today. (Experiencing the Sea of Galilee as a Christian traveler is unforgettable.)

  • Stand at Caesarea Philippi: Where Faith Was Declared
Stand before the “Gates of Hell”—the site of pagan worship in Caesarea Philippi, where Peter boldly declared Jesus as the Christ (Matthew 16:18). Jesus’ words still echo today: “On this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

  • Touch the Synagogue of Magdala
Walk through Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdalene, where Jesus likely taught. Run your hands over the first-century synagogue stones recently uncovered through archaeology—stones Jesus Himself may have sat on.

Biblical Sites in Israel That Bring Scripture to Life

Praying at the Western Wall

Israel is filled with faith-deepening experiences that connect believers to God’s Word in a profound way.

  • Pray at the Western Wall
Stand at one of the holiest sites in Judaism and reflect on the history of God's covenant with His people. Leave a written prayer tucked into the ancient stones.

  • Kneel in the Garden of Gethsemane
Sit among the 2,000-year-old olive trees where Jesus prayed before His crucifixion, surrendering His will to the Father.

  • Celebrate the Resurrection at the Garden Tomb
Read the angel’s words: “He is not here, for He is risen” (Matthew 28:6) at this peaceful and powerful site believed to be the place of Jesus’ burial and resurrection.

These aren’t just historic locations—they are places of encounter with the Living God. Everywhere you turn in Israel, faith becomes sight.
