After receiving your completed Room Share Agreement form, you will be placed on the Room Share Program Waitlist. Please understand that this is a waitlist; therefore, it does not guarantee a Room Share match or reservation.

Governmental and medical vaccination requirements vary considerably for different areas of the world and are subject to change at any time.

We recommend seasonal influenza vaccinations for all guests. Furthermore, you are strongly urged to seek advice from your primary care physician, the Department of Public Health, the World Health Organization (WHO), or the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to identify any specific vaccination or health precautions required for each place on your itinerary.

International regulations for disabilities are very different from those in the U.S. Few destinations have modified hotel rooms and tourist sites are not required to have ramps or elevators.

Most tours require physical activities involving a need for you to be in good health and able to climb stairs without assistance, walk at a modest pace over uneven terrain and be able to transport your own luggage. If you have a medical condition that might limit your participation in activities, please consult your physician before booking and notify us immediately. Additionally, if you require assistance during travel, we require you to bring a traveling companion.

Disclaimer: Due to international regulations, regardless of the relationship of the adult traveling companion, all children (anyone under the age of 18) must have written consent or provide a copy of a death certificate should one or both parents be deceased. This written consent must accompany the child during their travel.

Unless noted in the brochure or event website, the price for children is the same as for adults.

Packing Tips

What you pack depends on your destination and the activities planned during your trip. We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes or sandals, as you'll likely be on your feet exploring. Lightweight clothing such as shorts, loose-fitting shirts, and a hat or sun visor is great for warm weather, while a light jacket or sweater may come in handy for cooler evenings. If you're traveling to a destination with religious or cultural sites, you may need modest clothing to cover your shoulders and legs during visits.

Remember essentials like sunscreen, sunglasses, and a swimsuit if you'll be near the water. For rainy weather, pack a light raincoat. If you wear prescription medication or contact lenses, ensure you bring enough for the duration of your trip in their original containers.

Your tour booklet, with your confirmation, provides more detailed packing recommendations for your trip.

Yes. Luggage allowances vary between airlines and international and domestic flights (and are subject to change). We recommend that each passenger travel with at most one large suitcase and one carry-on. Many airlines charge additional fees for checked luggage.

Please contact your airline directly for applicable and current information regarding luggage allowances and fees.

Touring Questions

The amount of spending money you bring depends on your personal preferences and travel plans. Most purchases can be made with a credit card, but having some cash on hand is a good idea, especially smaller bills for tips, transportation, and local purchases. You can also withdraw cash from ATMs at your destination, which may offer better exchange rates than currency exchange services.

Breakfast, dinner and some lunches are included with most tours. Check the information for your tour for specific information on meals.

Basic gratuities for the hotels, guides, and drivers are included in the price of your tour. However, you are always free to give an extra gratuity for exemplary service.

Yes. Ironing services differ between hotels. Most have a self-service laundry room with an iron or offer laundry service for an additional fee. Some hotels have irons in the guestrooms.

Your travel packet will include a tour schedule. Once you arrive for the tour, a screen listing the following day's schedule will be in every hotel lobby.

In most cases, participants can use their personal cell phones (be sure to activate international call plans before leaving) or hotel phones to receive calls. In case of emergencies, contact Inspiration Travel at 800 247 1899, and our staff will know the best course of action.

While each day and destination are different, most tours require walking several miles at a moderate pace each day to fully participate in the scheduled events.
