Grateful to Return to Israel

After two years away, we’re grateful to return to Israel with our ministry partners and travelers. Like everyone around the world, having to pause helped us reflect on the things we value most, and the experiences we may have taken for granted. One of those was traveling to the Holy Land and returning to the places where Jesus lived, died and rose again. These are a few experiences we were especially thankful for during our return.

Seeing Israel through Fresh Eyes

Our passengers regularly tell us how incredible it is to walk in the footsteps of Jesus or to visit the places where He stood. There’s nothing quite like seeing Israel for the first time, but after two years away, seeing it again brought back all of those feelings. The overwhelming presence of His spirit, and the exhilarating realization that you’ve touched the literal ground where our savior once roamed. Our team works hard behind the scenes to handle all the details, keeping our tours stress-free so our travelers can experience God in a place they’ve been dreaming about all their lives.

Life-Changing Biblical Experiences

We love watching our travelers’ faces as they stand prayerfully in a biblical setting, touch an ancient stone, or glide in a boat across the Sea of Galilee. This is a special place and the excitement is evident, especially for those traveling to Israel for the first time.

Watching Friendships Deepen

Travel bonds friends and families together regardless of the destination, but the spiritual impact of travel to Israel can be especially meaningful. We enjoy seeing family members and travel friends experience a new location together and come to a deeper understanding of the Bible while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Reconnecting with Old Friends

We’ve been organizing Israel tours for decades, and work closely with the best local tour companies in the country. One of the reasons we are so grateful to return to Israel is to see our friends. We missed them! It has been a joy to catch up with local business owners, hotel staff, and everyone else we haven’t seen for two years. They welcomed us as if no time had passed at all, and we’ve been enjoying the opportunities to thank God together for the return of travel.

The Impact of God’s Presence

On the first day of a recent Max Lucado tour in Israel, our group visited Beit She’An, one of the oldest cities in Israel. A little rain fell and was followed by a gorgeous double rainbow when the sun emerged over the archaeological site. It reminded us of the beauty of this nation and God’s promises to care for us. From worshiping together at the Garden Tomb to praying in the Old City of Jerusalem, every tour is filled with unforgettable moments like this.

Returning to Our Favorite Experiences

Our passengers aren’t the only travelers with bucket lists! Our team members love visiting Israel just as much as our passengers do. Whether it’s the opportunity to step back into our favorite Jerusalem coffee shop or gather to hear Bible teachers like David Jeremiah and Max Lucado teach at the Mount of Beatitudes, Israel provides so many wonderful, God-breathed moments. 

Travel is a privilege—not just for our passengers, but for our team as well—and a Christian tour to a place as sacred as Israel is always a blessing. We are so grateful to return to Israel and look forward to several more tours this year and next. We hope you’ll join us!
